Statement of Faith

1. We believe in the Old and the New Testaments, consisting of a total of sixty-six (66) books, as verbally inspired by God, and infallible in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21).

2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit – the same in substance, equal in power and glory (Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14).

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is true God and true Man (John 1:1-2; Luke 1:35).

4. We believe that man was created by the direct act of God in the image of God, but fell into sin, thereby becoming totally lost and absolutely incapable of saving himself by his own works. As a result, all human beings are born with a sinful nature, incurring both spiritual and physical death (Isaiah 59:2; Romans 8:8).

5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died once for our sins according to the Scriptures as a complete substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who receive Him as their personal Savior are justified by faith through His shed blood (John 3:3-7, 16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 17:30).

6. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into Heaven, His present life there as our High Priest and Advocate (I Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9).

7. We believe that whosoever by faith will receive the Lord Jesus Christ as his/her Saviour, is born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby becomes a child of God (I Peter 1:18-19; Ephesians 1:7; John 1:12).

8. We believe that all who have truly been saved are indwelled and sealed by the Holy Spirit and are therefore eternally secure (John 6:37-40; Romans 8:1; I Peter 1:15).

9. We believe that the true Church is the one body composed of all born-again believers, Jesus Christ being the Head (Ephesians 1:22; I Corinthians 12:12-14).

10. We believe in the observance of the ordinances of the church, namely baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper (Acts8:36; Romans 6:3-5; I Corinthians 11:23-28; Acts 2:41-420).

11. We believe in the pretribulational and premillennial return of Jesus Christ in the air for His saints (I Thessalonians 4:13-18).

12. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved to spend eternity with the Lord in heaven. We believe that those that died without Christ will be resurrected to spend eternity in the conscious torment in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:4-6; John 5:28-29).

13. We believe in the second return of Christ to earth for a one thousand year reign on earth with his saints (Millenium; Revelation 20:1-6).
